At the ‘Zur Elektrischen’ you can enjoy authentic Austrian dishes in a classic atmosphere near Schönbrunn Palace. Owner and chef Philip Schmidt took over the inn in January 2021 together with his partner Cassandra Sarkady. The traditional inn has existed since 1906 and was successfully managed by the Schreiber family and most recently by the Herzog family for 25 years. The Austrian inn culture has always been a concern for us and so we have decided to continue the former inn. We are looking forward to the challenge and want to spoil our guests with classic Austrian dishes and international classics. Our small but fine selection of wines from local vintners will provide the perfect accompaniment.
